I'm looking forward to Paul Fowler's life-drawing workshop on December 9th in which he says he will be setting up mirrors with his models. I have in the past been fascinated by the ways in which photographers and artists have used mirrors to extend and amplify the three-dimensional world. I have collected many examples of the use of mirrors to reflect the pose, and so present to the beholder a different, parallel and simultaneous viewpoint. This has allowed me to engage with the basics of Cubism, which has become fundamental to my process.
So, let's awaite to see what happens on December 9th. In the meantime here is my own reflection on my aged self:
